Full description:

Parka: Woman's, hip-length with straight bottom edge. Body and sleeves are made from four main pieces of checked black, blue and white cotton fabric. Front and back are made from one piece seamed vertically along each side. Separate piece of same, cut with rectangular extension at the centre front and at the back of the neck between the shoulders, is sewn around the neck. Edge of fabric around neck is turned to the interior. End of each sleeve is turned to the interior to form a double-layered cuff. White cotton fabric overlaid with red cotton fabric forms a 140 mm wide double-layered band around the bottom edge. Structural sewing is by machine using white and black cotton thread.
