Librarian and Keeper of Collections: Heather Lane
The Librarian and Keeper of Collections, Heather Lane, has overall responsibility for the Information Services Division, including all library administration, policy and planning. She works in liaison with the Museum Development Manager, the Archivist and the Picture Library Manager. For further information, please use the main Library contact details.

The post-holder has responsibility for reader services and supervises the running of the Library Office and is the initial point of contact for enquiries.
Library Assistant (Acting Information Assistant): Georgina Cronin
Georgina assists with enquiry work, acquisitions and serials management. She assists the Librarian with user engagement. She is also responsible for much of the Library's clerical routine. She is interested in the ecological and socio-cultural conservation of the Polar Regions. See contact details.
Library Assistant / Librarian's Secretary: Rebecca Stancombe
Rebecca is the Librarian's personal assistant. She also manages the subscriptions for Polar & Glaciological Abstracts and helps with the retrospective conversion programme, converting card records for addition to SPRILIB. See contact details.
Antarctic Bibliographer: Hilary Shibata
Hilary is responsible for acquiring and processing publications relating to Antarctica, the sub-Antarctic islands and the Southern Ocean. E-mail: jhs1001@cam.ac.uk
Russian Bibliographer: Isabella Warren
Isabella is responsible for the acquisition and analytical cataloguing of material relating to the Russian North (which includes publications relating to the Russian Federation south to 63 deg. in European Russia and to 57 deg. in Asia, including all of Kamchatka and Sakhalin) and also material in Russian relevant to the rest of Library's scope.
She also provides bibliographic and occasional linguistic support to scholars within the Institute, and also to a more limited extent to outside readership. See contact details.
Arctic Bibliographer: Jeremy Wong
Jeremy selects, catalogues and indexes all materials relating to general polar literature, the American and Canadian Arctic, and Fennoscandia. His post is supported by the Friends of the Scott Polar Research Institute. See contact details.
