SPRI Select - customised bibliography service
The unique range and depth of the SPRI polar library collections can now be harnessed to provide detailed information on any subject of your choice. SPRI Select provides a customised, annotated bibliography where you specify the key concepts to be covered. The information is collated from the library's database, which is updated daily, and produced as a printed list. Each bibliography includes:
- Abstracts for each item
- Author index
- Subject/geographic index
- Choice of alphabetic author, subject or date arrangement
- Choice of complete language coverage or English language material only
You may use the SPRI Select service by completing a simple form, or discussing your requirements in detail with one of our expert bibliographers. The customised bibliographies can also be updated regularly as new materials become available. They are designed to offer a wide range of readings for further study or project work and may also include non-book materials, e.g. journal articles and videos.
The fee for the SPRI Select service depends upon the size of the bibliography. You may specify either comprehensive or selective coverage to meet your needs. Repeat requests are covered by a single search fee. The scale of charges is as follows.
Charges
The charges for this service are:
- Commercial: £35.00 search fee plus 25p per citation
- Educational: £25.00 search fee plus 12.5p per citation
