Entry requirements

The normal requirement is at least a good Upper Second Class standard in an Honours degree (or an equivalent GPA greater than 3.5), although account may be taken of other qualifications and experience.

We seek to attract high calibre applicants from across the range of the humanities, social sciences and physical sciences, from the UK and throughout the world.

English language qualification

Any student whose first language is not English or whose previous University training was not conducted entirely in English is normally required to achieve a satisfactory standard of English. Please see the information in the Postgraduate Admissions prospectus.
