Master's Degree (M.Phil.) in Polar Studies
Our M.Phil. in Polar Studies has recently been restructured to provide a greater focus on research activity. The course is divided into two 'strands'; Humanities and Social Sciences in Polar Regions, and Polar Physical Sciences. We wish to recruit students to investigate specific research topics within each strand, with each student nested within one of the Institute's specialist research groups. Some possible research topics for the coming year are listed.
Doctoral Research
We are actively seeking new research students in all subject areas contained on this website. If you have a potential PhD topic you would like to discuss with us, please contact the relevant member of staff and see the University's Graduate Admissions pages.
(Please note: as well as the information above, further information and application forms are available on the Board of Graduate Studies' website.)
