Tasiilaq Community Kayak Project 2010 Report To provide first time experience for members of the local community – adults and young people, who have lived in the area all their lives but never has the opportunity £1,000
Inushuk Northwest passage sea Kayak expedition 2010 Four men will be the first to kayak a demanding route through the Northwest Passage in one season; this journey is a 100% man-powered 2500-mile paddle over 85 days. The aim is to contribute to the state of knowledge regarding the amount, timing, and salinity of fresh water that fluxes from the Arctic Ocean through the Canadian Archipelago towards the North Atlantic £1,500
Expedition to Sermiligaarsuk Fjord, SW Greenland Preliminary report Undertaking this expedition to make a detailed study of the hydrothermal alteration and mineralization in the Taartoq group greenstones around Sermiligaarsku Fjord, involving 5 weeks geological mapping and sampling £1,000
BSES Arctic Adventure Expedition 2010 Report To enable students to gain experience of a remote Arctic environment by conducting science fieldwork projects in an adventurous setting, travelling throughout the area on footon scree/tundra and on glaciers with crampons/skis and pulks £1,000
NW Greenland Sea Kayak Climb Report To circumnavigate the Island of Qaersorssvauq, explore the surrounding areas and attempt new Alpine rock climbs in the area £1,250
Greenland 2010 – Tilman International Preliminary report Make first ascents of unclimbed big walls in the Sortehul area of Upernavik and climb unclimbed peaks in either Evigsfjord or Kangerdluarssugssuaq on the way south. To return across the Atlantic £1,500
Alpine Club Antarctic Expedition Report To land at several places along the Antarctic Peninsular from where various summits may be attempted £1,500
First Winter Crossing of the Antarctic Continent 2012 First ever winter crossing; scientific programme and large sum of money to be raised for Marie Curie Foundation; to fund the preliminary stages of development £2,000
The Uummannaq Expedition 2010 Exploratory mountaineering in the Uummannaq region of NW Greenland £1,500
